Heaven's Hope
When we can begin to comprehend or realize the glorious future that awaits us in heaven, we will find the strength to face and endure our present difficulties and challenges. Said differently, there is no hope in what's ahead unless you believe in what's ahead. And that hope is where present strength comes from.

Placing Trust
As Americans we must never trust our leaders, resources, intelligence or power more than we trust God. to do so only sets us up for failure and even punishment by God. (He opposes the proud.)

Why We Cry
The reasons why a man or woman might cry say much about that man or woman. Does he or she weep for their own losses or suffering? Or do they weep for the losses and suffering of others? Do they weep for their own frustrations - or for sin and rebellion against God? A truly righteous person will be moved to tears by the very same things that move God to tears.

Satisfied Christians
The pleasures of this world can be very dangerous for Christians. Their temporary satisfaction can be deceiving and making us indifferent to God's eternal satisfaction. In other words, we won't be satisfied with what God offers - and we'll think we need something else.

Place of Worship
Our place of worship is not as important to God as our priorities in worship. A church building may be beautiful, but if the people don't sincerely follow and diligently obey God, the church will decay from within.

Punished People
Most Christians know that immoral living - sin - rebellion against God - and even simply ignoring God - will lead to eternal punishment in hell. what we may overlook is that we don't have to wait for hell to get that punishment. God punishes His chosen people - often severely - in order to bring them back to Himself before it is too late.
